The Committee would like to extend congratulations to the new champs. Aggers, Smith, NC Calley & Joel. That’s correct, Susan Lucci and three “out of towners”. This makes Pus-Pus the NEW Susan Lucci. Also, The Committee would like to give a shout out to the Carte team for playing for it all. Although this decision didn’t turn out as they planned, it did add a little more pressure to an already tough event. The match also gave the gallery its first ever “Double D Wiff” - this did more to wake up the gallery than anything. Of course, without Smith in the gallery, it’s always more quiet.
Congrats also to New Legend-Ray Shaker and Hall of Famers- Dave Ferguson-04 (not on Board), Tom Peate -07 we forgot to include, and newcomers, Kevin Burke, Petri Carte, Ryan Andrews, Kevin Jordan and Jan Gusky(Peanut).
Next year’s Atwood will be even more prestigious, as the event celebrates its 40th. That’s right it’s either Atwood XXXX or Atwood XL (Extra large).
Clear your calendars now---April 30-May 2. Everyone who ever participated at Atwood will be invited although we will stick to the 56 golfing format.
