At-Ogle-Wood XLII March Update
Dear Duffers:
It’s getting close! No, not the NFL draft . Not the start of the MLB season nor the NBA playoffs. Even the Masters pales in comparison to the upcoming———wait for it, At-Ogle-Wood XLII ! That’s right the “golf” tournament that doubles as an “asshole reunion” is set to commence May 3, 2019.
12 teams of varying degrees of golf ability & acumen will challenge last years cheaters (K. Papushak, J. Caruso, P. Ferguson & Super Dave Ferguson) for the coveted crown of At-Ogle-Wood Champions. Just think about it. What other Tournament would let any Fergusons in, let alone 2 on the same team play in a golf tournament?!
Listed below are the Cabin assignments for this years festivities. If you’re confused, you haven’t been paying attention. Each person in their Cabin pays the amount listed next to Cabin name/number. Starting on March 18, you can either call in your payment with a credit card. 877-436-1797–Group # 36989 or mail a check payable to:

Due to Oglebay Cabin stipulations, each cabin has a total cost with a set number of inhabitants. Consequently, this is the official list that we will submit. The changes we make internally are the changes WE MAKE INTERNALLY! If you wish to change cabins with somebody due to a 2 night stay as opposed to a 3 night stay or vice versa OR just to change——— let me know before March 15, 2019! That’s when these assignments will be locked in. Once again, other than making a payment, and not to March 18, ——-

At-Ogle-Wood XLII is approximately 1/2 filled. PLEASE REMEMBER, due to Cabin & Golf Course restrictions , we can & will only take 56 Duffers ! If you're in but haven't paid your entry fee yet, The Committee is looking to close this out by end of year!
So, once again, send your $65 entry to:

Entry fee covers; (1) Food for dinners Friday and Saturday, (2) Kegs- Beer, (3) Booze/Mix, and (4) Prize Money. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CABIN COST!
THE FIRST 56 ARE IN- THERE WILL BE NO LATE ENTRYS!
IMPORTANT: THERE'S NO REASON TO CONTACT OGLEBAY. IN FACT, OGLEBAY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY CALLS EXCEPT FROM THE COMMITTEE.

Here's the Cabin situation. The Committee has been given 6 Cabins: 3 Cabins have already been reserved. These three cabins have been commandeered for 3 nights: The remaining 3 cabins can be taken for either 2 or 3 nights. The cost per person would be either $260.59 (2 nights) or $325.38 (3nights). HOWEVER, due to the aggregate cost of the cabin, ALL Duffers must be on the same page OR the people paying for 3 might have to chip in a little more to cover!
Once again, DO NOT contact Oglebay on this, either call John Ference 216-262-4376 or Jerry Sheets 440-552-8525 to ask for clarification or to commit to a cabin with a group.
III.
In summary, get your $65 in by end of year. Think about Cabin attendance, especially if you're thinking about reserving a cabin for 3 nights. Once again, there's absolutely no reason to contact Oglebay and instructions for submitting your money to Oglebay will be distributed early next year!

By popular demand and as promised, Atwood lives on! Pertinent information is listed above . Many of last years details are the same, but given that most of the Duffers invited suffer from substance abuse ADHD, here they are again.
COST: 2 tier payment.
Tier#1--Confirmation money (you're in) this years cost is $65 and covers, (1) food for dinners Friday & Saturday, (2) kegs- beer, (3) booze/mix and (4) Prize Money. That needs to be sent immediately to:

Based on feedback after last years festivities, it was determined that we would need 1 more cabin this year-56 Duffers . One of the issues we had last year was Cabin attendance & keys. The Committee has an "in person" meeting with Oglebay management-November 15, to remedy this issue but the one thing we can do better is to have a set number/names as early as possible! THAT MEANS SEND IN YOUR MONEY NOW!
Tier#2--not to be sent yet, but an individual fee of $257.71 covers 2 nights cabin -2 to a room, 8 to a cabin , 2 -18 hole tickets with cart-Friday and Saturday. We will also be discussing a better arrangement for those that want to come in Thursday.
The Committee is looking for 56 Duffers. The fact that we get more or less won't change the cost structure. This email will be sent to all last years participants. Please inform those that were unable to attend last year but remember all Rookies need to be cleared with The Committee.
