The official transfer ownership of the 47-year-old lodge and golf course to the county from the MWCD concludes several years of work by the MWCD to find a new owner for the facility. Commissioners said they hope to open it as soon as possible and will begin an aggressive effort to locate an appropriate operator.

The Atwood Community extends their deepest sympathies to Bill Miller and Family on the death of his daughter Mary Tydin Miller-------Ty died in a car accident November 13, 2011.
